That's not a marketing line; it's the reason our offers turn out differently from a reseller's: we don't have to factor in a margin for resale.
Why a Spanish House Buys in Germany
The German market is the most important in Europe for historical militaria — and, at the same time, the one where sellers need to be most careful: marketplaces exclude entire categories, and anyone who publicly posts a photo of a piece bearing symbolism treads on thin legal ice. That's precisely where we come in: the valuation happens privately via WhatsApp, nothing is put on public display, and the process is documented.
Our phone number is Spanish (+34 665 164 779 — also reachable via WhatsApp), but purchasing covers the whole of Germany. We view collections and Nachlass (estates) in person, on site, from Flensburg to Garmisch.
How We Work
- For our own collection. Pieces we buy are registered, documented, and maintained. They don't end up on a marketplace the next day.
- Valuation with reasoning. We don't just give you a figure but also the reasoning behind it: original or replica, condition, maker's mark, comparable values. Our value tables are public — you can see how we calculate before you ever write to us.
- Discretion. Many sellers are heirs who find the subject uncomfortable. We understand. No piece and no name appears anywhere without your consent.
- Payment in cash. At the agreed price — immediately, as soon as we agree.
Your Point of Contact
Valuation and purchasing are handled through a single, fixed point of contact: you write via WhatsApp and receive the assessment from the same person who then also handles the purchase. No call centre, no form that ends up lost in an inbox somewhere.
Our Story
Behind Antique Militaria stands a family business from the centre of Madrid. We started out in Spain, and purchasing now takes place mainly in Germany, where the most significant collections and Nachlass are found. What sets us apart from a sales platform: we keep what we buy. Every piece is added to our collection and documented.
Legally Sound, from the Start
Trading in historical originals is legal. The public display of certain symbols is regulated by law in Germany (§ 86a StGB) — which is why we always treat photos containing symbolism privately and handle every purchase in a documented manner. We explain what this means specifically for your sale on our legal page.
