If you would like to sell a Blankwaffe, there is no need to travel: send photos via WhatsApp, receive a free valuation within 24 hours, and get paid immediately once we agree on a price.

Let's start with the most important distinction: We buy exclusively Blankwaffen — no firearms, no ammunition, no weapon parts. For rifles, pistols and cartridges we are not the right contact; such items are subject to the German Weapons Act (Waffengesetz) and belong in the hands of someone holding the appropriate licence. Bladed weapons, however, may be sold freely by an heir or owner.

What we buy

  • Bayonets, above all the 84/98 bayonet for the K98 — ideally with matching numbers, complete with frog and sword knot
  • Extra-quality bayonets and parade bayonets with dedication blades
  • Sabres from the army, cavalry and navy, lion's-head sabres, Imperial-era sabres of the German states
  • Daggers: army daggers, Luftwaffe (German air force) daggers, navy daggers, service daggers from organisations of the Nazi era
  • Swords for officers and officials
  • Hangers, sword knots, scabbards and blade fittings — even individually

For bayonets, what counts is matching numbers between blade and scabbard, maker and condition: bayonets with matching numbers and a frog achieved between 180 and 575 € at auction (indicative). We naturally also value daggers bearing symbols from the Nazi era; trading in originals is legal, and § 86a of the German Criminal Code (StGB) governs only the public display of such symbols. For this reason we do not show such photos publicly and handle the documentation privately.

We do not buy: firearms and ammunition of any kind, replicas and decorative weapons, modern knives, and "memorial blades" etched after the fact from post-war production.

Valuation and sale in three steps

  1. Photos via WhatsApp to +34 665 164 779: the whole weapon, both sides of the blade, maker's stamps and numbers in detail.
  2. Reply within 24 hours with an authenticity assessment and offer — free of charge and without obligation.
  3. Payment in cash, at the agreed price — or by bank transfer immediately after inspection if sent by post. For collections with several Blankwaffen, we come to view them in person, anywhere in Germany.

We buy for our own collection — with no dealer's mark-up. And a practical tip from experience: never polish or de-rust a blade. A moment with an abrasive pad before a sale has turned many a collector's piece into scrap metal.

Frequently asked questions

Who am I allowed to sell a bayonet to? To any adult — bayonets, sabres and daggers may be owned and sold without a licence. With us it works by WhatsApp photo and postage or collection; you never have to travel anywhere.

Where can I sell historical sabres? Right here: send photos to +34 665 164 779, valuation within 24 hours, payment immediately. With sabres in particular it pays to have them checked — the gap between a mass-produced piece and a rare pattern from one of the German states can quickly run to several hundred euros.

My dagger has no sword knot and the scabbard is missing — is it still worth selling? Yes. We also buy incomplete pieces; the price depends on what is there. Send photos and we will tell you exactly what you can expect.

What is your piece worth?

You don't need to know what it is or have anything ready. One phone photo, exactly as the piece is, and we'll tell you what it is and what it is worth. Free and with no obligation.
