What we pay

Our guide buying prices (as of September 2026). The final price depends on condition, maker and whether the piece can be documented; this is not a commitment to buy.

Value guides with sources: Mother's Cross · Iron Cross · Knight's Cross · German Cross in Gold · War Merit Cross · Wound Badge · Second World War decorations · East German decorations

We buy military decorations up to 1945, throughout Germany, without you having to leave the house. Send us photos via WhatsApp, receive a free valuation within 24 hours, and once we agree on a price, we pay immediately.

We are a collectors' house from Madrid. We buy for our own collection — with no dealer mark-up: what we buy stays with us, so our offer isn't reduced by the margin a reseller has to build into theirs.

Which orders we buy

We buy originals from both world wars and the interwar period, for example:

  • Eisernes Kreuz (Iron Cross) 1st and 2nd Class (1914 and 1939), Ritterkreuz (Knight's Cross)
  • Wound Badges, Infantry Assault Badges, Panzer Assault Badges
  • War Merit Cross, Ostmedaille (Eastern Front Medal), Honour Cross of the World War
  • Mutterkreuz (Mother's Cross), in all classes
  • Orders from the Imperial era: Order of the Red Eagle, Bavarian, Saxon and Württemberg decorations
  • Complete order Nachlässe (estates) with certificates, cases and photographs — it is precisely this completeness that makes up the value

What an individual order is worth depends heavily on variant, maker and condition. An Eisernes Kreuz 2nd Class from 1939, worn and without a maker's mark, fetches from around 60 €, good examples on the ribbon 125 to 165 €, maker-marked examples with case considerably more (indicative). This is exactly why a valuation is worthwhile before you sell anywhere.

What we do not buy: Replicas and collector reproductions from the post-war period, damaged mass-produced pieces with no collector value, and items whose provenance the seller cannot explain.

How the sale works

  1. Send photos — via WhatsApp to +34 665 164 779. Front and back, and a close-up of any maker's mark if present. Two minutes' effort, entirely without obligation.
  2. Valuation within 24 hours — we tell you whether the piece is original and what we will pay for it.
  3. Payment in cash — once we've agreed a price. For larger order Nachlässe, we come and view them in person, anywhere in Germany.

A note on the legal framework: trading in original orders is legal in Germany, including pieces bearing symbols from the National Socialist era. § 86a of the German Criminal Code governs the public display of such symbols — which is why we treat photographs containing such symbolism discreetly and document the pieces privately.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I sell orders entirely from home? Yes, directly via WhatsApp — no travel, no appointment. You photograph the orders, we provide a free valuation and pay immediately once we agree. For entire collections, we come to you, anywhere in Germany.

Which orders are valuable? Rare grades of award (Ritterkreuz, Deutsches Kreuz in Gold — German Cross in Gold), early Imperial-era orders, maker-marked pieces and complete Nachlässe with certificate. But common orders also have their market value — send photos and we'll explain every figure we give you.

What are old orders worth? It ranges from double-digit amounts for common medals to four- and five-figure sums for top pieces. Without photos, any figure would be a guess — the valuation costs you nothing and commits you to nothing.

What is your piece worth?

You don't need to know what it is or have anything ready. One phone photo, exactly as the piece is, and we'll tell you what it is and what it is worth. Free and with no obligation.
